Established by an act of the State Legislature in 1991, the Local Early Education Planning Council (LPC) is a collaborative association of representatives from the early care and education field, including parents, child care providers, businesses, and government. A joint committee of board members from the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and Santa Clara County Board of Education oversees the Council.
